Surreal Hand

This was a strange project I did in my first year of art college. It was my first painting I did there and I the project consisted of us cutting out magazine images we liked, making a collage and copying that collage onto canvas with paint. I chose to work with oil paints for this project and later after the first year (as much as I enjoy oil paint) I realized acrylic is the way to go as it dries quicker and is easier to use for painting at home. The transport for oil paint is absurd.
